Largest Multi-Specialty Group Complex in Eastern U.S. Slated to Open This Summer

WAUKESHA, WISC - With a new 300,000 square-foot medical complex slated to open in the summer, Orthopedic Associates of Allentown and Advanced Breast Care Imaging announced a partnership with GE Healthcare for some of the most advanced imaging technology available today.

Orthopedic Associates of Allentown and Advanced Breast Care Imaging selected GE as a strategic partner to provide the medical complex with a plethora of diagnostic imaging equipment: 3T MRI, 1.5T MR HDe, CT LightSpeed, digital mammography, digital X-ray, ultrasound, C-arm, BMD DXA and bone ultrasonometer systems.

We envision this facility to become a leader in delivering holistic patient care from diagnosis to treatment through to lifetime wellness care, said Tony Molchany, COO, Orthopedic Associates of Allentown.

Dr. Mark Gittleman M.D., medical director of Advanced Breast Care Imaging, has placed a strong emphasis and focus on the delivery of top-notch breast care for patients. The latest technological advances provided by GE will greatly enhance our breast imaging services. Our vision defines the value and need for comprehensive breast imaging services to better serve our referring physicians and patients.

Patients will be able to arrive at our Center with the assurance of the most professional, personalized and quality-focused care, coupled with an atmosphere that will make the experience as comfortable and relaxing as possible, remarks Christine Downing, director of Imaging Services, Advanced Breast Care Imaging.

Orthopedic Associates and Advanced Breast Care Imaging will provide an interdisciplinary approach within the groups Integrated Health Campus that offers patients integrated services for added convenience and optimized care. In addition to the combined 17,000 square foot imaging center and the orthopedic group practice, the complex will also provide an ambulatory surgical center and clinical offices for OB/GYN, cardiac care, ENT, Rheumatology, Physiatry, Chiropractic care, Pain Management, Nutrition and weight management, aesthetic surgery, and a corporate conference facility. Patient wellness is the focal point of the center, with the aquatic venue housing three separate temperature pools, a comprehensive fitness facility, a Velocty sports performance gym, an elevated indoor track, spa and caf.
