MALVERN, Pa., March 1, 2006 - Siemens Medical Solutions' 64-slice computed tomography (CT) technology has continued to set new benchmarks in CT imaging over the past year. As a testament to this success, Cabrini Medical Center has become the 200th medical facility in the U.S. to install the SOMATOM Sensation© 64 CT system, the world's fastest and most advanced single source CT system. The Sensation 64 provides physicians with more information to detect and diagnose conditions earlier.

Using the Sensation 64 in all aspects of the business - in- and out-patient service, the emergency room, and in cardiac, neurological and abdominal studies, the system has provided Cabrini Medical Center the opportunity to detect and diagnosis disease states earlier.
Siemens 64-Slice CT Leads The Way
With more than 600 installed worldwide, the SOMATOM Sensation 64 is the gold standard in CT today. Over 40 percent of these installations include the SOMATOM Sensation Cardiac 64, which specifically helps diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. More than 80 percent of clinical research published to date on cardiac CT has involved Siemens' CT technology.
