Philipsburg, NJ -- INFINITT North America (www.infinittna.com), a leading developer of web-based image and information management systems, announced today that INFINITT PACS received the top ranking for a Community PACS in the 2010 KLAS PACS report titled: A Read on PACS: HOSPITAL EXPECTATIONS RISING. In the report, INFINITT received the highest score when compared with 15 other vendors with respect to PACS technology, service and support, and price/performance.
KLAS is an independent organization that reports medical device and health information system performance ratings based on customer surveys and interviews. For this report, 964 healthcare providers participated in the study, with a distinction made between large hospital and community hospital markets.
According to KLAS, INFINITT also received an overall performance score of 84.1 in the large hospital space; this score was not ranked in the final analysis for acute care hospitals because it did not meet the 15-customer evaluation minimum for KLAS Konfidence . INFINITT does plan, however, to become a serious contender in the U.S. large-hospital market space as it has proven itself in numerous hospitals and healthcare systems with more than 1,000 beds in international markets, including Europe, Southeast Asia and South America.

In the KLAS Medical Imaging Buyers Guide, also published this month, 93% of community hospital respondents said the INFINITT PACS has all the functionality they require and the product received an overall A- grade.
