Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. won a one-year, multimillion dollar contract with the Department of Defense to supply radiology systems and parts.
The Tustin, Calif.-based company nabbed a $36 million maximum fixed-price with economic adjustments contract for imaging equipment and parts, the Defense Logistics Agency said Tuesday. The contract, which wraps up on Feb. 3, 2012, is to supply the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.
Toshiba's winning bid was among 43 responses to a Web-solicited proposal, the agency said.
