So MD Niall Dyer was delighted to hear from a therapist in Norwich, Eric Demmon, reporting on the trouble-free performance of one of its 503 3-section couches. Eric calculated that, since originally purchasing the hydraulic couch in 2004, it had earned his practice around Pounds42,000 and been pushed around the treatment room for a total distance of 2 miles, with virtually no maintenance.

"I was treating a patient the other day and she made a complimentary remark about my Plinth 2000 couch. That is music to the ears of Niall Dyer, who appreciates that many of his clinical and therapy clients build their practices around a treatment table, which is in constant use every working day, and that if it were ever out of commission they would lose income and patient goodwill. Eric is equally positive about his highly distinctive craniosacral therapy (CST), for which he trained over two years with the renowned Upledger Institute. Described as a gentle, yet powerful healthcare approach, it acts through the central nervous system to assist in improving function throughout the whole body. The craniosacral system itself is the structure that supports the brain and spinal chord, specifically the membranes and fluid that surround and protect those areas, providing a controlled environment in which they develop and function effectively. Using a hands-on method of evaluation and treatment, the functioning of this system can be gently influenced and improved, complementing the body's natural healing processes.
