Agfa Healthcare said Friday its motorized, mobile direct radiography system, the DX-D 100, is now available for sale in the United States and Canada.
The system boasts a 17-inch touch screen and can store up to 4,000 images at one time. It has a high X-ray generator power -- up to 50 kW effective power -- for scanning dense areas, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based company.
The unit works with gadolinium or cesium DR panels, and can handle wireless and wired networking.
