3Disc Imaging, a manufacturer of CR readers, said Tuesday it bought Coreware, a Korean PACS company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ten-year-old Coreware, based in Gangwon, Korea, makes PACS and a touch-screen-based image workstation called Quasar.
3Disc makes the FireCR+ Reader for medical markets, as well as readers for dentist offices and veterinary clinics. Its has offices in the United States, Denmark and Korea. Its U.S. headquarters is in Dulles, Va.
