Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. said Monday it has installed its 1,200th Vantage MRI system.
The Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, a 662-bed hospital in Phoenix, installed a Vantage Titan 1.5-Tesla, one of the four units that make up the Vantage brand, Toshiba announced. The other MRIs in this product family include the Vantage, Vantage Atlas and Vantage Titan 3T.
Banner Good Samaritan is using the system for breast imaging, Toshiba said. The Banner Health system had previously bought two other Vantage Titan MRIs, one in another Arizona facility and one in Colorado.
