Expanded ACUSON S family of ultrasound systems
Elevating volume imaging in echocardiography to a new level, Release 2.0 of the ACUSON SC2000™ ultrasound system - Siemens' pioneering premier echocardiography system - delivers superior performance and imaging to improve workflow and patient outcomes. It offers many new applications, including the quantification of the 3D proximal isovelocity surface area (eSie PISA™ volume analysis) to assess the severity of valvular disease, and volumetric color Doppler. Other applications include a comprehensive package for automated left ventricle analysis (eSie LVA™ volume analysis), which enables the auto-detection and tracking of volume contours. Siemens' exclusive IN Focus coherent image-forming technology provides a high level of image uniformity and clinical detail throughout the entire image. Release 2.0 of the ACUSON SC2000 system supports volumetric intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), enabling the integration of the ACUSON AcuNav™ V ultrasound catheters.¹
With the ACUSON S1000™ system, Siemens expands access to premium performance imaging at an exceptional cost of ownership. The latest member of the ACUSON S Family of ultrasound systems, the ACUSON S1000 system encompasses state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, stellar imaging performance, and versatile applications to provide better patient care. The ACUSON S1000 system is ideal for adult and pediatric echocardiography, vascular and OR needs. Advanced transducer technology allows transesophageal echocardiography. The system supports the use of the ACUSON AcuNav ultrasound catheters for real-time information from within the heart to help improve therapeutic ablation procedures and other electrophysiology applications. Several transducers are cross-compatible among all ACUSON S family systems, allowing for greatest flexibility of use.

Imaging IT helps improve cardiovascular care
The number of chronic cardiovascular disease patients is rising, and the demand for high-quality, sustainable, and efficient cardiovascular care is similarly increasing. syngo Dynamics and syngo.via² help improve cardiovascular care by equipping clinicians with comprehensive workflows and tools for evaluating cardiovascular images from multiple modalities. With the newly released version VA11, syngo.via provides an even broader variety of applications to help make cardiac reading more confident and efficient. Innovative clinical applications are also now available for modalities such as nuclear cardiology and coronary angiography. These applications complement syngo.via's advanced solutions for CT and MRI examinations that are widely used for fast, accurate, and less invasive diagnostics of cardiovascular diseases.
