Chinese medical device company Mindray Medical International, Ltd said it was introducing a new ultrasound system in the U.S. this week.

The DC-8 ultrasound unit will take its bow at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' annual meeting, running May 5 through 9 in San Diego.

The system uses Mindray's Multi-Beam Parallel Imaging Technology and features a new user interface for better workflow, the company said.
