Carestream Health has picked Dutch medical imaging dealer Tromp Medical to distribute and service its DR cassettes and new mobile digital X-ray device in the Netherlands.
Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream said Friday Tromp will act as distributor for the DRX-1 wireless cassette, the DRX Evolution X-ray suites and the newly released DRX Revolution Mobile X-ray device, among other products.
Tromp, headquartered in Castricum, Netherlands, also sells Hologic C-arms and mammography units, NeuroLogica CT scanners and Metrasens ferromagnetic detection systems for MRIs. The company employs about 50, over half in service, and conducts 95 percent of its business in the Netherlands, Carestream said.
