Siemens' subsidiary PETNET Solutions Inc. signed a five-year deal with the group purchasing organization Novation to supply its member hospitals and clinics with PET radiopharmaceuticals.
The agreement covers oncology, cardiology and neurology agents, Siemens said.
A few weeks ago Novation also
announced it inked a similar deal with IBA Molecular, which also runs PET radiopharmacies.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based PETNET is the largest FDA-registered network of radiopharmacies in the world, according to Siemens' press release.
Novation, which services the 65,000 or so members of VHA Inc., UHC and Provista LLC., is based in Irving, Texas.
