Konica Minolta, an established player in the diagnostic imaging market for decades, will partner with OR Technology, a manufacturer of X-ray technology, most well-known for its image management systems and application knowledge for imaging systems.

According to a statement from OR Technology, the OEM partnership will help both companies grow their presence in the medical imaging market.

"The conclusion of an analysis of both companies' core competence clearly showed that cooperating in the field of digital radiology would be a strong value proposition in the market," said the statement.
Konica Minolta, headquartered in Tokyo, has operations all over the world, including Europe and the United States. OR Technology is based in Rostock Germany.
