Barrington, Ill. - GE Healthcare has announced that Satellite Med, a fully licensed medical clinic, in Cookeville, Tennessee will digitize its practice by implementing GE's Centricity(r) Physician Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Practice Management and Laboratory solutions. Leveraging a suite of GE products, Satellite Med will provide seamless care throughout the clinic's various departments.

Once complete, the installation of GE's Centricity solutions will allow physicians to use the patient's electronic medical record to send test
orders to Satellite Med's in-house lab and have the results returned electronically to the EMR. GE's Centricity Practice Management solution will also simultaneously facilitate the billing and processing of patient procedures. Therefore, the combination of GE's state-of-the-art products and technology will not only help physicians at Satellite Med maintain and update patient medical records, but it will also help Satellite Med's office staff streamline their administrative workflow.
