Philips Enters Into Agreement With Canada Health Infoway

Markham and Toronto, Ontario, Canada -- Philips Medical Systems has signed a Preferred Solution Agreement with Canada Health Infoway for iSiteTM PACS, a solution for Diagnostic Imaging Repositories and Regional Web Viewing. The agreement, which demonstrates that this Philips solution is aligned with the standards supported by Infoway, is expected to result in faster contracting and negotiations processes for a number of upcoming Canadian healthcare information technology projects. Through the Preferred Solution Agreement, Philips will help provide customers accelerated implementation of standards supported by Canada Health Infoway and implementation of a network of interoperable electronic health information solutions across Canada. The Preferred Solution Agreement enables Canadian health jurisdictions to acquire the best of breed technology through Philips unique Fee-per-Study Total Cost of Ownership business model.
