Tom Spees has been appointed vice president of sales for a newly established health care division of Richardson Electronics.
Spees, a health care industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, resigned from his position as director of sales, North American for the GTC Division of Philips Healthcare, known commercially as Dunlee.
He will bring his experience in sales and service of diagnostic imaging, capital equipment, digital radiography, PACS as well an extensive background in imaging components to his new role.

Richardson currently sells Medical displays and workstations under the Canvys brand, and plans to expand into the flat panel detector business and other high-value imaging components to support imaging equipment service companies.
Spees told DOTmed News he is excited about this new opportunity and told us he would share more details in the weeks ahead.
