China Med 2015
On March 26th, 2015, China Med will kick off the 27th International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The three-day event promises to bring together innovators and thought leaders from across China and throughout the world to share ideas, catch up with old colleagues, and nurture new business partnerships.

As with the other trade shows supported by MEDICA and its worldwide network, China Med is an authoritative platform for industry leaders to showcase their latest technological offerings in an engaging, hands-on atmosphere.

At last year's show, 50 companies showcased 168 new products and technologies. Those products ranged from radiographic imaging platforms, to medical consumables, to OR and ER equipment. Exhibiting companies included all the major OEMs as well as manufacturers with a unique presence in China, Japan, and other countries all over the world.

There will also be academic conferences for forward thinkers to share insight into the latest health industry trends.

The event will be held at the China National Convention Center and host attendees from among hospital personnel, clinicians, government officials, medical universities, emergency centers, research institutions, wholesalers, manufacturers, and importers and exporters.

China Med also represents a unique opportunity for buyers to get up close and personal with potential purchases and also meet the people behind the equipment. Military and civil hospital representatives make up a meaningful part of the attendees, and last year's event yielded $310 million in on-site transactions.

China Med started in 1989 and has grown continuously. Over the past few years records have repeatedly been set in numbers of exhibitors and visitors, with the last including 545 exhibitors from 22 countries and 29,500 visitors.

In that respect, this year's show looks to be no different.
