Rayence Inc.'s RU-3000 Digital
Universal Radiography System
Rayence Inc. announced on Wednesday that its RU-3000 Digital Universal Radiography System received FDA clearance. This is the first U-arm system that Rayence has marketed in the U.S.
“The FDA’s clearance of RU-3000 is a major step in our effort to broaden Rayence’s presence within growing market segments,” Bill Cioffi, vice president of business development at Rayence, said in a statement. “It is an essential first step in our achieving our future business goals.”
It has a small footprint and a compact design allows it to be easily installed, and it can be placed in settings with up to eight-foot ceilings because of its dual telescoping arm movement.

The system has fully motorized movements for SID, arm rotation, height, and detector angle. By using the touch screen on the tube head or a hand-held remote control, the detector angle can be automatically programmed to accommodate certain radiographic positions.
RU-3000 features a 17-by-17 inch cesium detector, the XmaruView workstation, an easily removable grid, patient safety anti-collision sensors and a mobile table. It’s designed for any imaging setting, especially orthopedics, imaging centers and urgent care.
