Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, February 19, 2016 – IBA, Proton Partners International (PPI) and Pravida Bau GmbH®, are pleased to announce their collaboration in designing and building the next generation vault for the three Proteus®ONE units ordered in 2015 in the United Kingdom.
The companies plan to combine Proteus®ONE, the most advanced compact equipment in Proton Therapy, with the patented Forster – Sandwich – Construction ® exclusively installed by Pravida Bau GmbH®, This particular technological approach offers several benefits including a reduction in installation time and a reduction of the environmental footprint as well as a cleaner and safer decommissioning process.
