and the OR
At this year's RSNA, NeuroLogica, a neuroscience-based medical imaging company, reported a steady rate of adoption for its CereTom(tm) CT scanner, the world's first portable and cordless head and neck CT scanner. Top US Medical facilities including The Massachusetts General Hospital, UCLA Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic have installed and are using the CereTom in their Intensive Care Units to help treat stroke and brain trauma patients.
"NeuroLogica has made great strides as a company, holding true to our mission of bringing better medical care to those who need it, and by continually delivering innovation to the medical community," says Eric M. Bailey, CEO and Co-founder of NeuroLogica Corporation.
Neurologists and radiologists have clearly recognized the flexibility and mobility of the CereTom(tm) in providing a quick and accurate scan to critical patients, and we are now looking to penetrate markets globally, particularly in rural areas and developing nations where access to brain scans is limited. We're partnering with numerous companies to develop innovative products for countless patient situations where a brain scan is needed."
