For one thing, all images should be time stamped, which was not done in this case. For another, the images should be processed in front of the clients. This was also not done. Expectant mothers were told that the images were going to be "touched up," and the tech left the room, returning with the finished image, according to CBC.

Mir, whose wife has only owned BabyView for six months, promised to learn from this episode. He stressed that they would be more careful in the future and offered a free session or refund to anyone with the identical image.
"I apologize on behalf of BabyView," he stressed. "We are sorry. Whatever occurred, this was not intentional. It wasn't our intention. We feel sorry for those parents who didn't get the proper service. We're sorry for that."
