The ACR is pleased to announce that it is co-sponsoring the 43rd Annual Meeting of the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP), April 16-17, 2007, at the Crystal City Marriott in Arlington, Virginia. This year’s theme “Advances in Radiation Protection in Medicine” will focus on the many new technologies that use radiation for the early detection and effective treatment of cancer and other diseases. Attendees will also learn how to maximize benefits to patients while controlling and minimizing their risks from exposure to ionizing radiation.
