GE Healthcare and Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre Sign $30 Million Agreement

Created as part of GE's early health model, these products allow healthcare professionals to focus on early diagnosis, intervention and prevention of disease. The aim is to help people live longer, fuller lives while decreasing the occurrence of unnecessary surgeries.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre will offer innovations including digital mammograms, CT, MR, mobile and digital X-ray units, complete physiological monitoring systems, telemetry systems and other wireless communication tools, gamma cameras, portable ultrasound units, one bone densitometer, anesthesia patient systems and portable vital signs monitors among other technologies. GE Healthcare is also providing medical imaging management, physician information management and a full suite of surgery-related solutions for the new facility.
