Canton, CT - Publication to change hands for a fourth time.
Rose Hambley, the publisher and editor of the
The Medical Remarketer, for the last 14 years, announced in a letter to advertizers that the magazine will cease publication under her direction. The last issue dated May 2005 was her final issue.
The Medical Remarketer was originally owned and operated by Rick Dockham, its founder, who is currently president of Dockham and Associates in Crossville, TN. After Rick Dockham the Medical Remarketer was run by David Stires.

The magazine, which was an "all-advertising" publication, was well known to a large number of people in the Used Medical Equipment Industry.
Ms. Hambley said the decision to close was stricly personal. She was unable to devote sufficient time to
The Medical Remarketer and her other publication,
CT Kids' Directory, on which she will now focus.
The Medical Remarketer has been sold to an undisclosed third party, and at this time, it is not known if or when it might be revived.
