Innovations will be based on a need-based concept for integrating new state-of-the-art technologies intelligently and through a timely-phased manner into the hospital’s processes, driving optimum clinical and economic value in the technology investments of Städtische Klinikum München.

Under the terms of the agreements, Philips will install its IQon Spectral CT solutions, providing enhanced tissue characterization and visualization capabilities that ensure more effective imaging and fewer repeat scans, improving clinical confidence among clinicians in making the right diagnosis based on the first scan at both hospitals.

The integration of its informatics solutions will provide the two with access to patient information across their hospital group locations for the improvement of care team collaboration, clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
