BOSTON, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- PatientPing, a health technology company that connects providers to seamlessly coordinate patient care, announced today that it has named former Division Head of Population Health at Epic Systems Corp., Sagnik Bhattacharya, as its Head of Payer & Provider Initiatives.

Bhattacharya will leverage his years of healthcare technology product development experience to build and launch new initiatives within PatientPing. He will be joining PatientPing's leadership team to spearhead projects that leverage and expand PatientPing's dense regional provider communities to further improve care quality and lower costs.

Prior to leading the development of Healthy Planet, Bhattacharya led Epic's ambulatory EHR, the #1 ranked EHR by KLAS for 8+ years. He was also responsible for technology focused on data analytics, case management, CRM, physician & employer engagement, and health plan administration and helped expand the company's footprint base beyond its traditional market.
