Ancient ways and modern
medicine are converging in
North Africa
The American Hospital of Dubai seeks to bring U.S.-quality healthcare to Libya and other countries.
The hospital has announced plans to expand its services in North Africa. The first phase will be focused on promoting its new Heart Center Program in Libya.
With Libya now in a favored-nation status, the privately-held American Hospital will initially introduce its US standard healthcare services at the `UAE in Libya' exhibition being held in Tripoli in November. The hospital will promote state-of-the-art surgical procedures such as those currently offered by the US board certified physicians at the Heart Centre in Dubai.

"We recognise the great potential in Libya amidst the renewed demand for a wide range of foreign products, including healthcare services." said Foteh Tleel, sales and marketing director of American Hospital Dubai.
"The opening of the American Hospital Dubai Heart Center last year has brought the latest in advanced surgical procedures to cardiac patients in the UAE," added Tleel. "By expanding these services into North Africa we aim to continue our success in treating heart disease in this region where the condition is one of the most significant healthcare issues."
