TARRYTOWN, N.Y. and MUNDELEIN, IL. - Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics (www.siemens.com/diagnostics) and Sysmex America, Inc. (www.sysmex.com/usa) have extended their distribution agreement for automated urine sedimentation analyzers for an additional year. As part of this new agreement, Siemens will sell and distribute the Sysmex UF-100i™ fully automated urine cell analyzer and related ADVIA® Urinalysis WorkCell in Canada and Puerto Rico.
Siemens and Sysmex America are committed to building future offerings that add clinical value and streamline urinalysis testing. The agreement enables combined technologies to provide a highly regarded, fully automated urine chemistry analyzer with a fully automated urine sediment analyzer to equip lab personnel with complete walk-away testing from start to finish.
