ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Carestream Health, Inc., and ScImage have signed an agreement that enables Carestream Health to offer medical professionals a comprehensive solution for enterprise-wide management of cardiology data in the U.S. and Canada markets.
Sales representatives from Carestream Health in the U.S. and Canada already have begun selling ScImage's PicomEnterprise solution-with built-in capture and visualization tools-for integration with CARESTREAM Information Management Solutions (IMS). A cardiology solution featuring the data management capabilities of CARESTREAM IMS combined with the benefits of PicomEnterprise can help improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency and reduce departmental costs.
ScImage's powerful web-based cardiology software solution-PicomEnterprise-enables cardiology departments, outpatient cardiology clinics, and private-practice cardiologists to use a single database to manage, distribute and safeguard cardiac information gathered at various points of care. PicomEnterprise decreases cost and increases productivity by providing a single point of access to echo, cath, ECG, vascular, nuclear cardiology and hemo-dynamic reports.

This software is designed specifically for the cardiology environment using a single platform architecture that unifies document and image management. ScImage's solution can acquire DICOM or non-DICOM images, and provides the ability to attach all images, documents, digital dictations and even Microsoft Windows-based files to a patient's record and to provide a centralized location for accessing patient history.
CARESTREAM IMS is a scalable platform for the management and storage of digital medical images and information offering on-site or remotely hosted storage solutions.
