DR 3500 System
ROCHESTER, NY - Carestream Health, Inc., announced that for the third consecutive calendar quarter its digital radiography (DR) systems received the highest ranking in user satisfaction in a study conducted by MD Buyline, an independent healthcare market research firm.

Members of the MD Buyline network gave Carestream Health the highest composite rating based on user satisfaction composite ratings and customer interviews. As part of the detailed evaluation, users rate system performance, reliability, installation, applications training, service response time and service repair quality.

MD Buyline's user comments about Carestream Health's DR systems include: "the system is much more user-friendly than other systems," "it integrated well with our PACS vendor," "no detail whatsoever is lost in the transfer via PACS," and "the system produces sharp, well-defined images."

Carestream Health offers one of the broadest DR product lines in the market to provide hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, orthopedic practices and other healthcare providers with digital image capture for x-ray imaging studies.
The platform's newest addition is the compact KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 3500 System, a fully motorized unit with a floor-mounted stand that does not require wall mounts or ceiling suspension provisions. This configuration creates greater placement flexibility and reduces the cost of installation.

The company's award-winning portfolio also includes KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 9500 and DR 7500 Systems. The DR 9500 is a radically new digital radiography system that allows technologists to capture images of the left and right side of the body without moving the patient. It is ideal for a wide variety of general radiography and procedures, and offers enhanced speed to the operator and comfort to patients with limited mobility.

The DR 7500 provides the ultimate in flexibility with single- and dual-detector options that enable medical facilities of any size to configure a DR solution that meets their individual space, application, workflow and budget requirements. This system won a design award for innovation at the 2006 CeBIT technology fair in Germany.
