Both DR 9500 and DR 3500 systems feature a large 17 x 17-inch image area (43 x 43 cm) that eliminates the need for detector rotation. A large cesium iodide detector matrix (3001 x 3001) with 143 micron pixels, combined with Carestream Health's advanced image processing software, produces sharp, detailed images of superb quality. Both systems also offer the same easy-to-use operator interface featured in other KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR and DR systems and features a fully integrated system operator console.
Extensive DR Portfolio Addresses Diverse Imaging Needs
Carestream Health offers one of the broadest product lines of digital radiography systems in the industry. In addition to the DR 9500 and the DR 3500, the company's portfolio also includes the KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 7500 System, a new pedestal-design table and a semi-automated long-length imaging solution that can be used with several KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR platforms.
The DR 7500 offers outstanding flexibility with single- and dual-detector options that enable medical facilities of any size to configure a DR solution that meets their individual space, application, workflow and budget requirements. The system's wall stand features a retractable Bucky capable of three-axis movement and a fixed, elevating table with four-way float provides flexible patient positioning. The table Bucky can be extended from the table to accommodate extremity exams.
New Radiographic Table Offers Pedestal Design
Carestream Health also recently introduced a new radiographic table for use with its digital radiography systems that is lightweight, easy to adjust and delivers flexible patient positioning. This elevated table with four-way floating tabletop offers a new pedestal design that allows it to be positioned at any angle to the detector. An optional floor pivot facilitates auto-positioning and has excellent attenuation characteristics.
This versatile table, which can also be used for computed radiography and film-based procedures, is now available in Canada, Europe and the United States, as well as most Arab, Asian and Pacific Rim countries.
