Since its grand opening last year on April 28, 2007, Richland International Hospital (RIH) has developed an excellent healthcare management system for all departments at RIH and follows the standards of the Joint Commission International (JCI). It is also the first hospital to operate with a full information technology system in the South-Western part of China and is already serving about 7,900 local high net-worth patients and about 680 foreign patients since its grand opening. 2. RIH is the first and the only hospital permitted to recruit foreign medical staff including physicians and nurses in the Yunnan Province.
3. RIH is first and the only hospital permitted to legally serve foreign patients in the Yunnan Province.
4. RIH has been designated as one of the Provinces approved insurance coverage hospitals.
