"Katrina's Angels" - My friend has taken the week off to co-venture with several people to create a sustainability website for people of Katrina for folks to post jobs, housing, etc...
www.katrinasangels.com
"One Person Does Make a Difference" - I have also created a matching donation game that I have sent to my communities across the nation. I have challenged my communities to match my donation of $100.00 to the agency of their choice. Then to send me a quick note via e-mail to rstntv@aol.com with the subject of "One Person Does Make a Difference" so I can capture our progress to share with them in future updates.

MedAssets Announces Matching Donation Program
for Ochsner Clinic Foundation
Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana narrowly missed a hurricane in fall of 04. It is due to this foresight to be prepared for such a disaster, that Ochsner has stayed afloat in providing care to hundreds of patients in the period following Hurricane Katrina and is the only large acute care hospital open at this time in New Orleans.
But due to the tremendous patient load created by the disaster and the continuing operating challenges, Ochsner needs help to continue providing care.
Ochsner is not only treating patients without running water, power or a normal inventory of medical supplies, but they are also feeding displaced hurricane victims who have nowhere else to go, said John Bardis, chairman, president, and CEO of MedAssets.
Please join MedAssets in helping raise the necessary funding to continue providing the supplies and equipment needed to continue operations in New Orleans.
