Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital today announced a new President and CEO. Ron Connovich steps into the role with over 30 years in healthcare leadership. He replaces retiring Steve Eisentrager, President and CEO who was the first employee of Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital when it opened in 2009. Eisentrager was instrumental in choosing his replacement, ensuring a smooth transition to a new CEO who shares his passion for high quality, locally sourced healthcare.
Connovich has served the past two years as President and CEO of Connovich Consulting where he used his many years of experience to work with hospitals and health systems in improving patient experience and access, expanding service lines, and population health management.
Before starting his own consulting firm, he spent 10 years in the Kettering Health Network as the President of Fort Hamilton Hospital and as both COO and CFO of Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital. Prior to that, Connovich was the Regional Vice President of Operations at Community Mercy Health Partners in Springfield, Ohio where he worked closely with local physicians in Clark County.
