Carestream Health's Latest PACS Platform Now Available Worldwide

Carestream PACS
DENVER - Carestream Health, Inc., has announced that its newest PACS platform that contains upgrades to its native and integrated advanced clinical applications is now available worldwide.

These optional advanced clinical applications provide substantive workflow advantages since on-site and remote users can access applications from a single unified virtual desktop. This eliminates the need for facilities to purchase and maintain multiple systems, while users gain added productivity since they don't need to travel between several dedicated workstations.

CARESTREAM PACS offers a Web-based, thin-client architecture that equips users to access the preferences and tools they need for diagnostic and clinical reading anywhere, anytime. Native applications for the platform include 3-D, vessel and cardiac analysis along with specialized tools for evaluating mammography images. Advanced integrated applications- including orthopedic pre-operative planning and templating, image fusion and virtual colonoscopy-launch through an action button for a seamless integration from the desktop. Carestream Health provides concurrent user licenses for native and integrated applications to deliver added convenience and lower cost to healthcare providers.
