Vanderbilt Health has entered a multiyear, $87 million Value Partnership with Siemens Healthineers to upgrade diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology technology across its Nashville-area hospitals.
The agreement covers equipment modernization, technology standardization, service operations and workforce development programs. According to the organizations, the partnership also establishes a framework for technology planning, installation support and operational performance initiatives aligned with Vanderbilt Health's clinical and operational priorities.
The Nashville, Tennessee-based health system said the agreement is designed to streamline future purchases and upgrades of imaging and radiation oncology equipment while supporting broader operational initiatives.

Under the partnership, Siemens Healthineers, based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, will supply technology for magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, molecular imaging, interventional radiology and radiation oncology. The systems will be deployed at multiple Vanderbilt Health facilities, including Vanderbilt University Hospital and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The organizations also plan to evaluate projects involving data infrastructure, AI-enabled technologies and workflow automation in radiology, as well as personalized medicine. Those efforts are intended to support clinical teams, improve operational efficiency and explore care models that could be expanded across the health system.

Financial terms beyond the announced $87 million value and the duration of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
