Dr. Robin Cook, best-selling author of more than 25 medical thrillers, will speak to participants of the Fourth Annual Oncology Congress (Congress), the evening of September 27. The event will be held September 25-28 at the Hilton, San Francisco.
The program was developed for U.S. medical and allied health professionals associated with oncology to gather and engage in productive discussions relative to patient care. This year, professionals in radiation oncology will have the opportunity to meet and discuss quality of life and treatment choices for patients with cancer from their choice of 28 topics such as breast cancer, lymphoma, supportive care and practice management. On hand will be more than 100 physician faculty members from recognized cancer facilities to present and answer questions pertaining to their respective specialties.
A specialized round of sessions will be held for caregivers. These multidisciplinary forums open with clinical history briefings followed by panelists' perspectives on the psychosocial issues associated with the case study. Pre-registration is required to attend these sessions.

Though satellite symposia are not officially part of the Congress program, each industry supporter independently manages provision of CME. Two symposia are offered. Participants in the Congress may claim appropriate CME credit. Check the website for specific information regarding objectives and accreditation.
Exhibitors may be able to squeak in if they hurry. An exhibitor's manual found on the Congress website provides details.
