St. Alexius was in a difficult situation. The facility was in possession of several items which had been removed by a company that closed its doors in April of 2009. The items were now in a Colorado warehouse. Fortunately, they contacted DOTmed and we were able to auction the items, generating revenue for the facility.
After the sale of their assets in Colorado, St. Alexius decided to continue using the Full-Service Auction format to promote other idle assets. They also decided to take advantage of DOTmed's "Clean Sweep" program.

With the help of St. Alexius, DOTmed was able to locate a warehouse to store the items off campus during auction. Under the Clean Sweep program, the items were all inventoried, photographed, packaged, removed from the facility and placed in storage, awaiting successful bidders.
All of the associated costs were removed from the auction revenue meaning St. Alexius will not have to remit a check. Instead, they will be the recipients of checks from DOTmed at the conclusion of the successful Auctions.
Within the first two-week auction cycle, DOTmed generated over $4,000 in revenue for St. Alexius and they are very happy with the process and plan to auction more items on DOTmed.com.
