Shore Memorial Hospital had a 1998 Picker R/F Room that it needed to sell.
Because DOTmed had helped the hospital to auction idle assets that were located at its previous vendor's warehouse, the facility confidently turned to a DOTmed specialist to auction the R/F room.
Thinking the unit had little value, the hospital was hoping, at best, that a company could be found to deinstall the system for free instead of the facility being responsible for the associated costs.

After the first run, the auction was viewed several times with no bids. DOTmed discussed options with the contact at the facility and the decision was made to relaunch the auction.
After the second cycle, the unit sold for $2,100 and the successful bidder also paid to have the unit deinstalled, packaged and shipped.
