DOTmed was called by an imaging clinic that had a Siemens High Frequency Rad /Tomo Chest Room that needed to be removed.
The clinic tried selling the room on its own, but ran into issues with trying to collect the money from buyers and could not get much more than $1,000 if the buyer was required to do the deinstall.

DOTmed regional auction manager Mike Galella convinced the clinic to try a managed auction - meaning questions, deinstallation and receipt of payment would be handled.
The room sold to a overseas buyer within three weeks for $9,000.
A DOTmed Top 100 service company was referred to deinstall the room.
Both the buyer and seller were happy with the sale price and the timely removal.
