A DOTmed auction
success story
This report originally appeared in the March 2010 issue of DOTmed Business News
An award-winning hospital in Oklahoma had recently upgraded from their 1991 Varian Linear Accelerator. After months of attempting to sell the old system, the hospital found themselves taking the lowest bids to pay a company to deinstall and remove the system.
Before they decided to pay for the system to be taken out, the hospital called DOTmed to learn about what a DOTmed Full-Service Managed Auction could do for them. Within one Auction Cycle, DOTmed had not only saved the facility the $8,000 they were expected to pay for the removal, but was able to sell the system for $5,000 with the buyer paying for deinstallation and removal.
