An imaging center in Costa Rica had two 1.5 T MRI warm magnets and in storage.

The Auction Team went to work, posting the offering and then contacting scrap metal vendors across the globe.

In just one auction cycle both magnets sold for a high bid of $22,500.
The seller was able to have the magnets packed into a container in Costa Rica and then shipped off to the port in Houston, Texas, where the buyers picked them up.
