Looking to bring in some extra revenue, Bon Secours Charity Health System turned to DOTmed to market the 2000 GE LightSpeed QXi CT scanner it had in storage.
After a few auction cycles, the scanner received several bids with the highest ringing in at $25,000. Eager to sell the unit, the facility wanted to accept the bid.

However, knowing the unit's market value was higher, DOTmed spoke with the contact at the facility and the decision was made to relaunch the auction with further promotion from the auction team and via online networks.
The recommendation was justified as the scanner received a final bid of $40,000 -$15,000 more than what the facility had been willing to settle on.
The knowledge and effort delivered by the DOTmed auction team improved the bottom line for this facility.
