Ultrasound Solutions Corp. opens west coast headquarters in Las Vegas.
Ultrasound Solutions Corporation is expanding to the West Coast with the opening of a new office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The company offers diagnostic imaging equipment, service, and continuing education for sonographers. USC Las Vegas will provide imaging equipment sales, repair and maintenance services to customers and will include a sales showroom so that they can see its offerings in person. Its portfolio includes ultrasound systems, as well as radiography equipment and a full range of DRs, C-arms, CTs and mammography systems.

USC global headquarters is in Ronkonkoma, New York with satellite field offices in Ohio and Florida. The new west coast location ensures that it can serve its west coast customer base to the fullest and on time while also expanding into new territories, Nat Romeo, president and CEO of Ultrasound Solutions Corp., told HCB News. "It's becoming more and more difficult to get what you need when you need it. And when you add to that the increasing cost of shipping, fuel, travel — our end users are constantly forced to do more with less. Having USC representation across the U.S. now allows us to ease the stress, both physically and monetarily, to truly provide an end-to-end, one-stop shop for everything in the diagnostic imaging landscape."

Just last summer, the company expanded out through its acquisition of Hi-Tech Medical Imaging in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This allowed it to incorporate X-ray equipment sales and services into its product line.

It saw potential in Las Vegas due to rapid growth in the healthcare market there and a mass exodus in many parts of California. Additionally, Las Vegas is often where medical companies debut their newest solutions and services to customers from all over the U.S.

USC offers ultrasound solutions for women’s health, cardiology, urology, vascular, MSK, point-of-care and veterinary needs and has both used and new equipment. Models range from GE Logiq P5s to the Alpinion family. It also has radiographic equipment for general, orthopedic, point of care, chiropractic, veterinary and portable radiology.

"Every provider, from the nervous sonographer starting their own private business, to the 5-star public healthcare system hungering for an alternative to the OEM, will find an unparalleled value in USC's portfolio of diagnostic imaging offerings," said Romeo. "Our solutions encompass not just equipment sales but also service, imaging technology, and continuing medical education. USC is ready to bring the West Coast our brand of 'customer-centric' service."
